In case that puppy is not your first pets, so you have to be careful to introduce the dogs to the other pets in the house.

Since dogs are socialised, and enjoy being a part of the group. Puppies in the group must set their own place in their own habitat. The puppy will try determining their own space within the house.

So not to leave the puppy alone wih the cat, when you first introduce them. You must give a supervision untill they know each other.  Either dog or cat could get ronunced once you turn your back from them.

Let’s the cat take the lead for the first meeting. Since the cat is in the house first, then it can observed the puppy first. Take the puppy away once the sour environment start, but try again next time.

Naturally, cat is the territorial animals. They migh be nice to puppy, but they will be placed in teh house while they want to be left alone.

There could be an off limits for teaching the puppy in the certain places. Think of hte command that you could use to keep the puppy away form those places. You might have to use it often until the puppy learns the cat’s unwritten rules.

The puppy might chasing the puppy around, this may make you laugh. However, you have to encourage the puppy not to do it again.

On the other hand, puppy may chase the puppy and one day it could be vice versa. Dont scold the cat, if it chase the puppy. Since they live in the same roof, then this quarrel should not continue. Since both of the side have the idea of territorial disputes.

In order for the cats and dogs to live happily together, they should come with an understanding. As long as they respect each other then there should not be any trobles. However, there might not be a love between them. It’s not good to feel frustrated with this cat and dog issue. This thing takes time.

Puppy need to beintroduced to all the pets in the house, eventually if you have to introduce the puppy to the cat, then you may need more time. For the first time, they may not like each other, but they will learn to live together in harmony later on.
