Kids are over excited once there is a new puppy in the house. They want to play with the puppy all the times. However, before you allow the kids to play around witht eh puppy, there should be a rules set for protecting them both.

There is one thing you should know, if your kids are the catalyst for the puppy since you are the one who will take care of the puppy most of the time so indulging their need for another things means another that dependent for you.

You can give the kids the tasks to take care of the puppy if they want to get involved. So make the schedule for both party. Make the list for the kids and show them how to responsible for it. If they have  school during the day, then you can arrange them the task in the evening or in the early morning.

Since both the kids and puppy need exercise, then you can arrange them together. Let’s the kids help up in taking a leash for the puppy, then take them for a walk around the neighbourhood. Take the safe route for the kids for a walk.

The bathroom breaks task also thing that the kids can help in.  Take them the same route that you normally take the puppy for a walk. Tell the kids to use the same command as you do. By doing this , it will help the kids to understand the puppy once it needs to go to the bathroom.

Lastly, if the kids want to play with the puppy, then tell them to show some respects to the puppy since the puppy is look like a stuffed animal for them. The only difference is the puppy can bite. They really need to learn to show some respect to the puppy. By not playing so roughly with him, poking them or disturb them while sleeping.

Teach the kids to touch the puppy in the right way, the fur should not be stroked or patted his head. What is the sign of challenge is looking the puppy into its eyes. Encourage your kids not to do so.

The kids and puppy should have their own space in the house, and kids should avoid the puppy’s area. The puppy area should not be the place for the kids to play,but they still can bring the puppy for a walk and play.

The kids love puppy and the puppy also love them. They should have to long lasting relationship if they respect each other. Once they agree on this then they will have a great experience and memory together.
