Male and female Miniature Schanuzer usually has a height of 12 to 14 inches or 30 to 36 centimeters.
Miniature Schnauzer has a light body weight compared to different dogs. The Miniature Schnauzer usually have a double coat that is trimmed shortly especially in the body and they hairs in the ears, legs and eyes are usually long.

In year 1888, the Miniature Schnauzer was introduced as a result from the cross breeds between standard schnauzer and Poodle, Affenpinscher and Miniature Pinscher. The Miniature Schnauzer first exposure in exhibition was in 1899. n 1926, the Miniature Schnauzer was registered in the AKC. In year 1948, the United Kennel Club accepted the Miniature Schnauzer.
Normally the Miniature Schnauzer has a healthy breed and mostly who suffers from illness are those who are fat. Some of the problems that a Miniature Schnauzer may encounter are hyperlipidemia, a problem that involves the pancreas. Also like human beings the Miniature Schnauzer may suffer from bladder stones, eye problems and diabetes. Also, the Miniature Schnauzer may encounter problems on their ears because of their long hairs grown in it. So it is important that it is checked regularly and should always be dry after taking a bath to avoid infection.
